"Letters From My Dad" Analysis

The writer defines himself by letting his audience know that he is a family man, and lives a Christian lifestyle. He lets you know this by posting pictures of religious acts and picture of his family and other family's. He is mostly pointing his opinions and views to other people that share the same interest.
He starts off his blog by letting you know how important it is to have a family that communicates to each other very well. He states this by just talking to each other all the time or even go to the extent of writing letters to each other. He refers to writing letters when his father wrote him a letter when he was about to graduate college. The writer talks about how much it meant to him and how important it was to him. The writer lets us know it touched him so much because he talks about how his father and how his father actually took the time to sit down and write about what he thinks his son is capable of doing. He talks about how he knows his father meant everything he said in the letter.
The next thing the writer points out is that he is trying to get more people to know how much it means to a person when you write letters. He also is encouraging other fathers out there to take the time and write to their kids.
Overall I thought this blog was very true. I think the writer related this blog to real life situations and was able to relate most of it to his audience.
